As a move towards a greener future, Koobr, a leading creative agency in the East Midlands, attended the Woodland Trust’s tree planting day in partnership with Premier Paper Group Ltd at Frodsham Wood in North Cheshire.
The collaborative effort marks a substantial contribution to their Carbon Capture® programme, with an outstanding 3000 trees planted on the day.
Craig Barker, Director of Koobr, was hands-on in helping to transform the former golf course at Frodsham Wood into a thriving natural habitat at Woodland Trust’s biggest tree planting event of the year.
This initiative is not only a step towards mitigating CO2 emissions caused by paper production and distribution, but also a statement in supporting local communities and wildlife.
Craig Barker expressed his enthusiasm, “At Koobr, we firmly believe in making a positive difference, a value that resonates through every aspect of our business. Being part of tree planting days allows us to extend our commitment beyond the confines of the office.
“It’s an honour to be part of these initiatives and to help build a sustainable future, leaving the world in a better place than we found it.”
The day was a fantastic experience for all participants, allowing them to directly support and contribute to the Woodland Trust’s vital work. The former golf course will develop as native broadleaf woodland and all trees planted will help to grow The Mersey Forest and the larger Northern Forest, stretching from Liverpool to the Yorkshire coast.
