On Wednesday 12th November, Derby Hub welcomes Simon Hare as our next Inspiring Interviewee.
Simon is a name and face familiar to many in Derbyshire, having worked as a BBC television reporter for over 25 years. From regional TV news and Inside Out to even co-presenting Crimewatch Roadshow (by accident, as he puts it!), Simon has been at the heart of some of the East Midlands’ biggest stories.
During his broadcasting career, he covered global headlines such as the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, the tragic Victory Road fire in Derby, and even one of the greatest sporting upsets of this century.
Since leaving the BBC, Simon has launched Chevin Media, offering media training and content creation for companies, charities, and individuals. He also continues to work behind the scenes producing for the regional Politics East Midlands programme.
