Description
Come join us on 12th March where Derby Hub’s Monthly Networking & Interview Series is shining a spotlight on Rob Hattersley, the driving force behind Longbow Venues – a group transforming Derbyshire’s hospitality scene with a vision that blends heritage, resilience, and innovation.
About Rob Hattersley
From managing the Farmhouse at Mackworth to taking over The Maynard in Grindleford in 2019, Rob has been at the forefront of Derbyshire’s hospitality evolution. When the pandemic hit, devastating the industry, Rob and his team used the time to refine their offering, emerging stronger than ever.
Since then, Rob has led the revival of iconic venues, including taking over The George in Hathersage in 2021, navigating challenges like floods and economic uncertainty, and growing Longbow Venues to six locations – most recently with the relaunch of the prestigious Peacock at Rowsley. With one more exciting venue currently in progress, the group now employs over 260 staff and continues to redefine independent hospitality in Derbyshire.
